About Me
I'm a fully qualified Humanistic and Integrative Psychotherapist, and a registered member of the UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP). I offer psychotherapy in Bristol and online psychotherapy across the UK.
For more than ten years, I've worked across NHS and voluntary mental health services, supporting adults experiencing a wide range of emotional and psychological difficulties.
My decision to train as a psychotherapist grew from a longstanding interest in understanding people and their experiences on a deeper level. I have always felt fascinated by the people's stories and by how our relationships and experiences shape the way we see and experience ourselves. Psychotherapy offered me the opportunity to combine this curiosity with a genuine commitment to support people create meaningful and lasting change.
I trained at the Bath Centre for Psychotherapy and Counselling (BCPC), where I developed an integrative approach to psychotherapy grounded in the belief that each person is unique and that therapy should be tailored to the individual rather than fitted into a single model or technique. I began practicing as a trainee in 2019. As part of my professional training, I completed a psychotherapy placement with a specialist agency supporting people with addictions, and soon began seeing clients in private practice.
Alongside my private practice, I work as a psychotherapist within NHS mental health services, supporting people with complex emotional and psychological difficulties. I'm registered with the UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP), the leading professional body for psychotherapists and I work with accordance with its Ethical Principles and Code of Professional Conduct. All my work is supervised by an experienced and accredited supervisor.
