How I work
I offer Humanistic and Integrative Psychotherapy in Bristol and online across the UK. My approach is grounded in the belief that every person is unique, and that therapy should reflect your individual needs, experiences, and circumstances.

At the heart of my work is the therapeutic relationship. I believe that healing and growth can happen within a safe, trusting environment where you feel heard, understood, and accepted. My aim is not to position myself as an expert on your life, but to work alongside you in exploring your experiences, understanding patterns that may be causing you difficulties, and supporting you in moving towards the changes you would like to make. Together, we can explore current challenges, relationships, past experiences, and he ways in which these may influence how you experience yourself and others today.

My training at BCPC has strongly influenced how I work. Its approach emphasises the importance of relationship, self-awareness, and the understanding that difficulties often develop within the context of our life experiences and relationships with others. Rather than focusing solely on symptoms, therapy offers an opportunity to develop a deeper understanding of yourself, your patterns of relating, and the meanings behind your experiences. Whether you are struggling with anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, trauma, low self-esteem, loss, or life transitions, therapy can provide an opportunity to pause, reflect, and develop a different relationship with yourself and the challenges you are facing, as well as with other people.

Some clients come to therapy with a clear understanding of what they would like to work on, while others arrive feeling uncertain or overwhelmed, Both are welcome. We can begin wherever you are.

I welcome adults from all backgrounds, identities and life experiences, and I'm committed to offering an inclusive, respectful and affirming space where you can be yourself.

What to expect
Our first session is an opportunity for us to meet and explore what has brought you to therapy. We will discuss your hopes for therapy, any concerns you may have, and whether working together feels like the right fit.

Therapy is a collaborative process, and we will regularly reflect on how the work is progressing and what feels most helpful to you. Sessions are confidential and take place in a supportive, professional environment where your experiences, thoughts, and feelings can be explored safely and at your own pace.

Finding the right therapist is an important decision. I offer a free 15-minute introductory call, giving us an opportunity to discuss your need and explore whether working together feels right.
